Fired Up Training Services, LLC Officers:
Michael West - A 4th generation firefighter who has been a member since 1982. Mike is a company officer with South Metro (CO) Fire Rescue, a member of the Metro Dive Rescue Team, and an instructor at the Metro Fire Training Center. He has taught classes as FDIC, FDIC West, Firehouse World, as well as numerous regional and local conferences. Mike teaches classes specific to fireground operations and rapid intervention as well as company leadership and instructional techniques. He holds degrees in Fire Science and Management and has written articles for several publications.
Sheryl West - A member of the fire service since 1986, Sheryl is a firefighter/ paramedic with South Metro Fire Rescue. Sheryl is a member of the Arapahoe County Hazardous Materials Team and a member of The Colorado Urban Search and Rescue Team (COTF1) She is a faculty member with the Community College of Aurora and a adjunct instructor with Swedish Medical Center. Sheryl teaches classes in all areas of EMS and Hazardous Materials Response. She holds degrees in Biology, Chemistry, and Fire Science.
